The Interreg MED Green Growth Community in the EU Green Week 2018

The 2018 edition of EU Green Week “Green Cities for a Greener Future” explores ways in which the EU is helping cities to develop sustainable urban strategies and become better places to live and work in.

The greening experience of cities such as Copenhagen, Bristol and Mollet del Vallès in relation to their policy development on waste and water management, air quality, noise, green spaces and mobility could become great examples for other EU cities, especially in the MED area.

The Interreg MED Green Growth Community is joining the movement exploring participatory approaches to urban development, networking schemes, and tools for sharing best practices while sharing the Community’s vision of a sustainable future and ways in which Interreg MED projects can contribute to greener cities.
